Description

This document provides the list of equipment used in the installation of simple or combined cycle power plants with gas turbines as prime mover, and the related plant installation costs in tabular format.

In addition, specifying the basic principles that should be considered in the operation of power plants, a short review of the criteria necessary for the installation of such plants has been made on the basis of a virtual country with high hydraulic energy potential, and with existing natural gas producing capability.

This document was prepared in August 2004 by the Author and submitted as short briefing note to the Energy Ministry representative of a country with almost similar energy potentials described as above. It is a non-commercial document and can be fully viewed freely on this WEB Site.
